No False Scarcity – People buy from people that they like and trust, so don’t ever bullshit your email list.
If you’re trying to add scarcity to an offer by creating a false deadline you’re going to kill your reputation real quick.
Instead of enticing people with some bogus deadline, create a ‘limited’ bonus offer that expires on a certain date but never use false scarcity to make an extra buck.
It will come back to haunt you!
Don’t ‘Set it and Forget it’ – Just because you have an awesome landing page software that whips up high converting squeeze pages in seconds and an autoresponder that sends out your emails for you on autopilot doesn’t mean your job is done.
In fact, your job has just begun my friend.
As a smart marketer, you need to be testing every single part of your funnel starting with the squeeze page conversions, FE conversions, welcome email subject lines and the list goes on and on.
I was just talking with a marketing buddy of mine on how important the difference of 1% conversions can be to your business..
Some newbie marketers don’t understand how huge an increase of just 1% can be but when the industry standard offer is converting at 1% you just DOUBLED your return!
So keep testing and get every part of your funnel converting your leads into paying customers as quickly and effective as possible.
Don’t Send Direct To The Affiliate Offer – Have you ever sent out an email that had a broken link that didn’t send to your offer? This is a huge pain and it can cost you hundreds or thousands of dollars…
Instead of sending directly to your affiliate link inside of any email I suggest you use a special tracking link that will redirect to your offer when someone clicks.
Not only will it shorten your link and make it much more clickable, but in the event your link is broken or the offer gets pulled for some reason you can head to your click tracking software and swap out the link for another offer.
Don’t waste your clicks by sending them to a broken link.. Instead, use a tracking link to redirect your clicks to another offer.
If you want to build a real relationship with your subscribers to get more clicks and commissions then follow these 3 simple email marketing rules for success.
